Flaxseeds/Flax – Prostate Cancer

Consuming flaxseed may help lower your risk of prostate cancer. Flax has roots dating back to ancient Egypt and Chine, making it one of the oldest fiber crops to be recorded. Flaxseeds are a rich source of nutrients, like manganese, vitamin B-1 and omega-3 fatty acids.

Although there’s still a need to do further research, some people think that it protects them against a number of conditions ranging from diabetes to prostate cancer.

 

Flaxseeds/Flax – Inflammation

Have five to seven servings per day of omega-3 fatty acids and healthy fats from foods like nuts and nut oil, flax, chia seed, and extra virgin olive oil to help deal with inflammation. Nab marine sources as well such as algae and phytoplankton in tonic or supplement forms, since these are also ideal for helping ease inflammation.
